I purchased the WER-ES1901 printer from WER-CHINA in August 2018. The printer was easy to assemble – right out of the box – and seems easy to use.
We had a previous HP printer, a 130NR, 24″. Very old but it did the job. Had a few quirks that we managed to work around.
Finally decided on a 72″ printer and find WER. Chose the WER-ES1901 cause it was the cheapest 72″ we could find. Could not be happier. Especially with the ink prices. Yeah, only 10dollars one liter. Our needs are a few plans drawings a day. It excels at that. Probably 10 times the speed of the 130 and so much easier to load and unload the paper. Having an extra spindle means I can quickly change from 24 wide to 72 wide in less than a minute.
This printer works as designed for printing engineering drawings for our team. Please note that a roll of paper is not included with this printer and you will have to buy separately. Other than that it works great. And I really dig the ability to print map pages and the occasional poster. Help keep the print heads active since I don’t make posters every day. Convenient replacement, as well, since both my printers seemed to be having print head issues that I could not resolve.
I didn’t want to pay the premium for a big machine (like I have in my engineering company).
Recommend this one highly. Have only gone through about 100 rolls of paper so far but it has been perfect.
